Full-Time Wellness Teacher

The Upper School is currently looking for a full-time (100%) Wellness teacher, to start August 1, 2026 to teach students in Grades 6-10.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and deliver a vital part of our students' education.

The Role: 

You will be primarily responsible for teaching Wellness to students in Grades 6-10, with one class scheduled per 4-day timetable cycle. Working closely with the Assistant Head of Upper School, the Dean of Students and the existing Wellness teacher, you will:

  • Lead and teach well-planned lessons for students across Grades 6-10.
  • Support the development of the Wellness curriculum.
  • Document and articulate the curriculum in Toddle, using established standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on topics including, but not limited to: physical & mental health, sexual health, healthy relationships, responsible decision-making (e.g., substance abuse, nutrition), self-awareness, and study skills.

What We're Looking For: 

The successful candidate will have experience of teaching a Health or Wellness curriculum in an international school setting.. They will be an enthusiastic collaborator with a deep commitment to the pastoral care of young people.

General Qualifications & Experience: 

A Teacher qualification and a bachelor's degree are required and a Master's degree is preferred. A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience, and experience of teaching Health and Wellness; IB experience, especially if gained in an international school is highly desirable. Fluent proficiency in the English language is required.
